Deniz Suite
Our largest room, with a private corner balcony over the strait.
A ten-room Ottoman mansion restored into a boutique retreat. Private balconies, hand-tiled hammam, chef's table every evening.
A boutique hotel is nothing without obsession. Here are three of ours.
Seven courses, no menu — chef Emre cooks around what the Beşiktaş fish market gave him that morning. Twelve seats only.
The original marble hammam has been restored and reserved — one party at a time, two hours each. No queue, no sharing.
A dedicated boat concierge, same crew every day. The strait is more intimate when the captain already knows your coffee order.
Mavi Konak was the summer residence of a 19th-century shipping family. In 2012 we began the restoration — timber from the original forests, lime from the Marmara coast, the hammam marble lifted stone by stone and set back exactly where it had been.
Each room is a different shape, a different story. Pick the one that fits your trip.
We've stayed in a lot of beautiful hotels. We've stayed in very few that make us feel like we belong there within an hour. Mavi Konak does.— Condé Nast Traveler · July 2025
